Barnett’s Furniture Store opened at 6303 in 1961. Like many other New Orleans businesses
it added a new location in Metairie. Barnett’s pre-existing stores were at 600 Carondelet and 4803 Chef Menteur Highway.
This ad ran in 1963. Also in the 6300 block for decades were a Winn Dixie and Kystal Hamburger.
