Foray’s Restaurant was located at 2815 Airline Highway (at the corner of Labarre
Road) when this advertisement ran in 1949. Across the highway, Pines Tourist Courts (2800 Airline) advertised “all
rooms tile bath and refrigerator -- Beauty Rest Mattresses” in 1944. By 1952 it was renamed Rossi Motel Court, owned
