Metaireburg stretched from Lake Pontchartrain to Northline between the New Basin/New Orleans Canal and the tracks
of the New Orleans and Carrollton. Metairie Ville was bordered by the tracks and the land of Joseph Beaulieu. Longue Vue House
and Gardens at 7 Bamboo Road, which was built in 1925 in what was then Metairie Burg, typifies the grand homes built in this
